This is a test, a ficlet to see if I could get on a roll with the new style and direction I wanted to do after not knowing where I was going the first time. I have this problem of creating good starting points, but having a rough time closing it or putting in a middle to the plot. I want to change that and hopefully this is the start. Ficlet starts after the cut!

This is an original story whose characters I've been carrying with me since jr.high and at one point it was called the Gemstone Warriors saga. Recently, though, I've scrapped that whole teenagers banding together against a big evil idea, and I'm now trying to revamp it. It's going to be quite a process since I'm trying to create an original plot. But here are the profiles of the nine characters.
